As a long-time Zoho CRM admin, I’ve spent more hours than I care to admit inside the report builder. Don’t get me wrong—I love a well-built report. But if I just need to visualize something quickly or spot trends in a pipeline without pulling 10 levers and adding 5 filters, this new feature might be my new go-to.

What is Chart View?

You’re probably familiar with List View and Kanban View inside Zoho CRM modules. Now, when you're inside a module like Deals or Leads, you can toggle to Chart View. It lets you:
  • Use all the same filters from the left sidebar
  • Choose the field you want to analyze (like deal stage, lead source, etc.)
  • Pick your chart type (bar, line, donut, pie)
  • Publish and save your views
  • Even mass update or mass email records right from the chart interface

Yes—you read that right. Mass actions are still available.

Why It’s a Game-Changer

For fast insights or casual trend spotting, this is way quicker than building out a report. Especially if you’re already comfortable using module filters. It’s like a visual version of List View, with the bonus of live charts.

Use it for:
  • Visualizing deals by rep, stage, or region
  • Checking lead status distributions
  • Seeing task completions by user
  • Getting a real-time snapshot of project progress (if you use custom modules)

Pro Tips to Get Started

  • Filter first: Use the left-hand filters to narrow down the dataset before switching views.
  • Save your work: You can publish a Chart View so your team can use it too.
  • Think operational: If you often do daily checks on pipeline health or team activity, save a few go-to views and share them.
