Sometimes the smallest changes in Zoho CRM can make the biggest difference for your team.

One feature we love to show clients - and one that always gets a “why didn’t I know about this sooner?” reaction - is the Business Card View.

This is the set of fields you see at the top of every record. It’s always visible and meant to highlight the most important info, but by default, it usually includes fields that feel…random. You might see a reference number you don’t use, or a field no one in your company actually cares about.

What Is the Business Card View in Zoho CRM?

At the top of every record in Zoho CRM, there is a compact area that shows five key fields. This is called the Business Card View, and it's visible across all layouts in all modules.

But here’s the thing: unless someone has updated it, the fields shown are often not the most relevant to your team. You can change that.

How to Customize the Business Card View

  1. Go to Setup > Modules and Fields
  2. Select the module you want to update (Leads, Contacts, Deals, etc.)
  3. Click into the Module Builder
  4. At the top, select the “Detailed View” tab
  5. You’ll see a section labeled “Business Card”
  6. Here, you can:

  • Turn the Business Card on or off
  • Reorder the fields
  • Replace fields with ones that are more meaningful to your team

Once you click Save, that updated view will be reflected across all records in that module.
