New Zoho Forms Fields: Cleaner Addresses, Locations, and Yes No

Zoho Forms just added three field types that quietly remove the most annoying form problems:

  • Bad addresses
  • Vague locations
  • “Yes/no” questions that somehow take six clicks to build

And if your form data is messy, your CRM and your ops become messy. So these updates are a bigger deal than they look.

Zoho’s latest additions are GeoComplete, Map Location, and a dedicated Yes/No field.

Watch How Zoho Forms Makes Data Collection Easier

Field 1: GeoComplete

GeoComplete lets a respondent type an address in one line and auto-fills the full address details, which reduces typing and cuts down on typos. Zoho notes you can choose Zoho Maps or Google Maps as the service for auto-fill, and Google Maps requires setting up a connection.

Where GeoComplete helps immediately

  • Lead intake forms
  • Delivery addresses
  • Job site addresses
  • Event registrations

Any situation where a wrong address creates downstream chaos.

Admin tip

If your org uses Google Maps, set up the Google Maps connection before you roll this out so your team does not “half configure” it and blame the field.

Field 2: Map Location

Map Location is a different type of “location” field. Instead of collecting an address from the respondent, it lets you embed a map with a pinned location by using latitude and longitude coordinates. You can also add custom address text at the pin to make it clearer.

Where Map Location shines

This is a “go here” field, not a “tell me where you are” field.

  • Training location
  • Service center instructions
  • Event venue
  • Job site meetup point

This is how you stop “I went to the wrong place” texts.

Field 3: Yes/No

Zoho Forms now has a purpose-built Yes/No field for binary responses. Zoho explicitly positions it as a cleaner alternative to building a two-option radio field workaround.

Where Yes/No helps

  • Confirmations (Yes, I will attend)
  • Consent (Yes, I agree)
  • Gate questions (Yes, I want a quote)

The win is consistency and speed, especially when you are building a lot of operational forms.

Quick recap: what each field fixes

  • GeoComplete fixes bad addresses and reduces typos.
  • Map Location fixes vague locations by showing a pinned spot in the form.
  • Yes/No fixes clunky binary questions with a dedicated field type.

Clean form inputs mean cleaner CRM data, which means less manual cleanup and fewer automation failures.

Bonus “new-ish” field to watch: Prefill-Webhook

If you want to go one level deeper, Zoho Forms also has a Prefill-Webhook advanced field that supports dynamically prefilling form fields with data fetched from external services.

This is the kind of feature that turns a form into a true intake step in a workflow, not just a static questionnaire.
