What Is Zia in Zoho Sheet?

How to Use Zia in Zoho Sheet
You don’t need to install anything. Zia is already built into Zoho Sheet.
Step 1: Open a Zoho Sheet
Create or open a spreadsheet with data—something you want to calculate, summarize, or filter.
Step 2: Click the Zia Icon
In the toolbar, click the Zia icon or look for “Ask Zia” in the sidebar.
You’ll see a prompt that says:
“Ask your question in plain English”
or
“What would you like to do?”
Step 3: Type What You Want (Like You’d Say It)
Example prompts:
- “Sum all values in column B where date is in July”
- “Count how many entries are marked as Completed”
- “Average sales per month in 2024”
- “What does this formula do?” (paste formula)
Zia will:
- Write the formula for you
- Insert it into the cell
- AND explain what it means (if you want)
You can edit the formula or ask follow-up questions—Zia’s flexible.
